Its Official..

I REALLY HATE BLACK !!!!

Yesterday I decieded to give the truck a full blown detail. The Whole Nine Yards. By the time I finished it was getting dark so I didnt get any pics, but the truck looked well...

I figured its going to be nice today I can get some with the stang. Woke up its totally covered in dust and a few birds hit there mark.

Time to wash the truck again..

Black looks absolutely fantastic only after you've completely busted your rump getting it cleaned up...

5 minutes later, it's an entirely different story.

I love my black KR but, I hate my black KR too.

Just stay about 15' away from it and make sure it's always in bad lighting (shade, overcast sky, dusk/dawn, etc...)

You'll always love it... The only time I really see my truck during the week is dawn/dusk, so it works out nicely for me. Then the weekend hits and I spend the afternoon washing my truck.

I know what you mean. Spent 15 hours over 2 days this weekend washing and detailing my truck and here it is 2 days later and the thing is covered in dust and is dirty already. It's tough to get out there eveyr weekend, but once it's had it's really good detail then it's just weekly upkeep.

i can knock out a full exterior detail using a cheapo waxer to apply polish and wax all within a day but with several breaks

but i am getting faster at the initial wash, i just today mastered the sheeting method of drying

Black is like a hot tub, It's cool if your friend has one. My last two details where black vehicles. They are by FAR the best looking when cleaned and detailed, but also look the worst when scratched up.

You have done a marvelous job though.

First i just used eagle one polish, it took the rest of the chrome reflective off, ( probably dont need to do this, i wanted to see if i actually needed to paint, you really dont if you get all the chrome off ) then a quick little sand and paint with duplicolor black
