Woohoo...I qualify as "up and coming" by Jason woohoo! lol

Here are a few pics from my latest detail: a 2006 BLACK on black 350z. Used Menzerna 106ff with a purple foamed wool pad to take out the swirls. Topped it with some #21 2.0.

enjoy...let me know what you think.

BTW, these are no BS pics...I took pics that showed the most damage possible before and after, no "myspace pics" or cloudy shots. (I finished at 10pm, so no direct sun, just halogen and flash for swirls in the afters- sorry!)

Here are some before and after, and even the all mighty "half and half" :
Before damage

In this one the damage is only visible in the shade, look towards the bottom of the pic

50:50 pic...not the best, my camera sucks, but you see the top 75% is the before, and the bottom 25% is after 106ff:

And then some after shots in the same locations as the before damage shots.

Well, here are the pic's I promised to post yesterday, of course I'm a day late. Got them when we went over to my mothers for dinner. These are wash +3 days. With the water restrictions I cannot wash again until Wednesday.
You can kind of see my wife's CV in the reflection of the first pic.

And now for an example of the orange peal that's all over this truck.

Didn't get any of the other defects, forgot about it.

What part of this truck is that photo taken from?
Be specific and don't say "the whole truck". Your hood looks GREAT, show me a close up of the drivers door near and with the door handle on the pic.

Thanks

Its not my fav, I prefer white. But I did fall *** backwards in this truck so I took it. The color is hard to work with and I have spent a lot of time with it.

2 things I know for sure on my next truck.
1. Not getting another KR
2. Not getting another dark color.

However, I sure do like some of the blues that Ford has. They are sharp and I know I am make them look better.

I am leaning towards the Pueblo Gold for my next truck. Who knows. That is a long way off.

I wish you could show me the full potential of my blue... I'm not sure I've seen my color (true blue) fully detailed by one of the pros on here.

RR I would LOVE to.. Little too far of a drive for me though. I wish I lived in Texas. Seems like half the members on this forum are down there.

I've got some pics in the gallery though. How far off do you think I am?

I actually think the roof is the best paint on the truck until it gets near the edges up front. I'll get some more with 'markers' in them so you can see what part of the truck they are from, but it really is about the whole truck.

The one you inquired about was from the drivers side of the rear of the bed between the wheel well and the taillight. You can still make out my wife's car, but the clarity is gone that close up.

This one is, of course, the passenger corner of the bed at the rear.

Those are the only five I took. I'll get some more tomorrow morning after I go to the vet. One of my pit's lost his rabies tag and I'll be out getting a replacement.

That was not what I thought....have to think about this a tad more. It is interesting. Trying to figure out how your truck has more pronoucned OP on it, or if its a camera issue too.

Dumb question...you have clayed the truck right?

if so, what did you clay it with?

I used the Meg's clay kit before I sealed and waxed it.

I don't think it's the camera. What you see is what you get unfortunately.

We'll start with your requested pic:

I tried to get items in there so you could see where the part of the truck is and see the clarity of the pictures.

A few more will follow.
