At what point does #34 get applied. Im taking it that 34 is similiar to a Quik Detailer. Someone please correct me if Im wrong. Also please correct me if Im wrong. but Im taking it that you guys are telling me to just use soap and water on my wheels then apply wax on it (the same wax that I use on my paint) as a sealant. If so, how long does this was last on it. Thanks for all the responses.

I don't know why I didn't catch that. Now that I read the post again I can't help but to laugh out loud.

1. yes; #34 is a quick detailer. It can be applied to a surface that is "dusty". This being said it is VERY good.. seeing as how you don't want to use most QD's as they may leave micro scratches. You'll love it, easy on easy off and a nice high shine left behind.

RR-- I got your joke but havn't had time to reply haha! i was like wtf?! i know he uses 34 all the time.

2. I wax my wheels when i wax my truck, and once in between. I try to get a full detail every 4-5 months on my truck and put a coat of wax/sealeant on my wheels every 2-3 months.

*Since your wheels arent chrome, it probably wouldnt hurt just waxing every time you waxed your truck.

just my .02

I dont drive much so I dont have anything caked up on it and If I did drive alot I would wash it much more often. I hate to see a nice dirty vehicle. My parents think Im crazy b/c I wash my truck b4 I get on the interstate to drive b/t NYC and NC, lol.

I didn't see it mentioned but I'm pretty sure if it was that someone will kindly refresh my memory... but when waxing your wheels, use a synthetic wax. Other waxes really won't hold up to the extreme heat wheels see. I use Chemical Guy's Wheel Guard. I know atleast Thumper uses Poorboy's Wheel Sealant and likes it. I really like the Chemical Guy's Wheel Guard but I'd like to try the Poorboy's Wheels Sealant just because you never know until you try.

Unfortunately I haven't found a dedicated "wheel wax" that works any better than a regular synthetic sealant. Nothing seems to hold up well on my wheels, but that might be caused by towing 8k+ lbs a few times a week.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's exactly why it's not holding up !!

The Poorboy's Wheel Sealant, in my case and on my car, holds up much better than #845, #21, NXT 2.0, etc.

Honestly, I use only a few D-line products. I have several of the M-line. But much like JP, I am starting to sway more towards PB stuff.

Megs has a great line, and there are some of their products I will continue to use. However, PB has a lineup that is superior to any others IMO for the following:
Paint correction
Paint protection
accessory stuff (ie: Bug Squash, leather stuff, wheel guard, Natural look dressing, etc)

Megs products are great for the higher volume, though. Things like HD, APC/APC+, #80 for high volume vehicles, super soap, etc.

But for the driveway warrior, I think I am sold on PB.

Okay, I've decided to go ahead and list out what I can remember off the top of my head:
#80
#21
#16
#34
XFD
detailer blue clay
#9
#7
#26
APC+
HyperDressing
... I know I have more, but I am not going to go look through my stash right now. Maybe later if I can muster the motivation to get on here.

I've got about the same list as F150Sport03 plus a few things. It's pretty similiar. I used to be hardcore Meguiars type of guy because of Brad but I'm starting to switch over to a lot of Poorboy's stuff. The ease of application and removal is just amazing. Not to mention all of their stuff looks equally good or even better so why not !? I just ordered some PB Natural Look Dressing, PB Blue Natty, EX-P Sealant, and some other PB stuff. I can't wait.
