Homemade detailing creeper seat

I got tired of sitting on my 5 gallon bucket to detail wheels, motorcycles, etc. so I got a zero-turn mower take-off seat (those guys mod their stuff too with a suspension seat), a 2x6, some left over plywood, some non-marring swivel casters and a rattle can of rustoleum. I just need to add a cupholder and an ashtray. I'm not gonna lie that it was cheap (probably $85 all together) but it is so much more comfy than anything factory made.

First project:

I was expecting something that looked horrible and probably didn't work well. Boy was I wrong. I'm considering making one just like that !!

The internet is funny with emotions so I can't tell where you're going with this. Are you being funny or are you butt hurt? Regardless, I saw "homemade" and thought it'd be crappy. However it looks awesome, really comfortable, and I'll probably make one just like it. Compliments to you !!

I knew what you meant...just joking. The places that sell commercial lawn equipment or Ebay will be your best bet if you do it. Look up an Ebay seller "jkcasters1" on Ebay for the wheels.

Gotcha and I appreciate the advice. I'll look them up later. I was looking at detailing seats like these and they are like $300 for something half way decent. That's just nuts. It wasn't a problem with my truck since it was lifted on 37s, I could just stand up and polish. Now it's a real pain in the *** bending over to do the car.

So the black part (the part the seat sits on) is made of plywood? I may make me one of these... just being a big guy (330lb) i may wanna weld up some metal instead of a wood box to sit on.

Top and bottom are 3/4 plywood....the vertical parts are chunks of 2x6 laid out so the front and part of the sides are open. I thought about metal but I'm without a welder currently so everything looks like a combination of lumber, deck screws and construction adhesive in my head lately.
