RollingRock's Sat Project

Well, today is my 11th anniversay with the wife. Crazy weekend, family in town for baby shower, and then tomorrow Father's day...

Friends are staying with us and just got a new 745 Li, and the paint is bad shape. So I couldn't resist.

Washed
Clayed
PB SSR1 Green LC Flex
PB PP White LC Flex
PB BH BLack LC Flex
PB EX-P Blue LC Flex
PB Nattys Red, Hand
Megs HD wheels and wells.

Happy friend.

He had just paid 200 bucks for a detail before he came down to DFW from Hot Springs, it looked BAD.

Before:

Kind of hard to see the spider webbing but its there

A few afters:
Taking a break after SSR1, PP and BH...

cont......

Learnings. This is some of the hardest paint I have ever seen. I could have spent 10 more hours on it and going more aggressive. There are marks I couldn't get out whit SSR3 and a yellow LC with the Flex on 6....they wouldn't budge.

Will get some close ups in the sun later.

Wanted to show the reflecto shots.

Looks Good!!!

Must be some really good friends, I don't think I have any that I would let stay with me and detail their car while they were in.

looks better. I am a BMW man, gotta love the 745. I actually like the rear look of it better than the 750. Great Job!

Me too ... I don't really like the 750i but I would drive, either.

I'd drive either myself. I love BM's. I have two 3 series and b4 I bought my 07 150 I was debating b/t 150 and the 335i. Well since I'm typing this, you can pretty much tell what I choose, lol, but I needed the truck for my motorcycles.
