I use #34 for after washes and quick touch-ups. It's kind of expensive to use for a clay lube, IMO, but a lot of people do it. Personally, I just use the A-Line QD for clay lube since it's so cheap and widely available.

ok ok ok. I love Rick and I appreciate his outstanding customer service but this time around I had to order from autogeek in order to receive my items by Friday.

This is what I ordered

#34 Gallon
#34 16oz bottle
#26 16oz bottle
Megs mild clay bar
Poorboys wheel sealant
Supreme 530 MF towel (I figured that I would give these a try)

Im slowy rebuilding my collection. The reason I say rebuilding is b/c Im in the process of going from Megs consumer line to their pro and detailer line. I will eventually start trying other products but as of right now Im very comfortable with Megs. I've always been a big clean car/truck kind of guy before I joined the forum but now with advice and more resources at hand I can only get better.

Once again here is my approach for this weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong

Proper wash and dry.
Clay Bar (Megs Mild)
Megs Deep paint cleaner
NXT 2.0 (let it cure for 12hrs)

I use ONR diluted as my clay lube. Works very well and is much cheaper than using a QD.

Procedure looks fine. What does the paint look like? Do you need something that's a paint corrective polish?

So, basically soapy water? [ONR is a car wash soap right?]

Use the cheapest QD you can find for a clay lube. Soapy water will work fine BUT it will deteriorate the clay.

Standard car wash soap will, but ONR won't.

Ohh, good ole ONR. Quick tip, buy it, buy gallons of it. you will wonder what you did before you bought it after you try it out a few times.
