Question Carnuba question

Do you guys prefer paste or liquid?

And do you use your DA or hand wax only?

Depends on the product for both questions.

paste, hand only. cant think of a single liquid thats superior to the paster version.

The only wax that I'll apply by DA is #21 & NXT because of time contraints.

I agree. I used to be a hardcore liquid guy but I quickly learned that the paste versions are superior.

Keep it thin and keep in mind that it's not going to be too durable. It will look great though !!

Collinite 845 is superior to many paste waxes on the market and it is durable as well

define superior? longer lasting? then yes? deeper, wetter looks? no. #16, souveran, p21s100%, vintage are.

I was more comparing it to the standard fare at most wallyworlds and auto parts places and I do agree with you on the brands above. It also depends on the color of the vehicle as well as the prep work that goes into it. No matter what type lipstick you rub on a pig, it will always be a pig.

agreed. proper prep are key.

With proper prep, even Nu Finish will look great - not that I'd use it though.

Durability wise, of course. It's an insulator wax. Compare it to stuff like Nattys Red, #16, Pete's 53, etc they are all leaps and bounds better in the looks department. It's always a trade-off.
