I got the cabinets from Home Depot. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...ctId=100120789

They work fine, just dont put too much weight on the shelves.

I use my rubbermaid drawers from college...2 drawers for MFs (each towel in a separate Ziploc bag), 1 for applicators, 1 for pads, 1 for brushes, and 1 misc drawer. I bought a Rubbermaid container with a lock lid last night at Walmart that I would like to use for transporting towels and applicators when I need to. The best looking setup I've ever seen was a Craftsman cabinet full of detailing supplies...if only $ allowed.

Yep, I use rubber maids and then I have them stacked up neatly in a hallway closet. I will not allow anything other then my car care in that closet but I dont want to risk the temps breaking down my huge investment.

I'm glad you posted this! I feel so much better as I do the same thing! Not just Cleaning supplies, though. I installed shelves on my garage walls and have about 30 1 qt. bins all labeled. I find it _so_ much easier to put things away and find them when stored like this.

All of mine sit on shelves in the garage specifically for vehicle cleaning/detailing supplies. This way I can keep track of everything (and show off a lil) and if I notice somethings getitng a lil low, just run in (or out) and grab it without needing to take actual inventory.

Mine is stored inside the laundry room in a dedicated cabinet just off the garage. It gets to hot in the summer and to cold in the winter here in Oklahoma to store supplies in the garage.
