What to do in the rain?

So we've been having nasty weather all week and from the look of the Dopplers here, the pouring rain is just getting started. I was working on my interior when it started drizzling and I'm going to hold off on the exterior detailing until it stops, but is there anything I can do while im out in the rain?

I'm one of those guys that once I start something, I cant stop until its done, so I'm about to go don on a pair of swiming trunks and a snorkel and go find something to clean.

You can wash your car in the rain, Ive done it before. Then take it into the garage to dry it off.

Thanks, I was hoping my mama was not crazy, and that she gave good advice.

And I guess you could clean the inside. Just bring everything inside with you and have at it.

get underneath and scrub some underbody. wheel wells. if you are lowering your truck, i guess it doesnt matter too much. or you could find a covered area and clean the engine parts.

I'd say the real problem with washing the truck in the rain is that what are you going to do with it after that? If it's been raining none stop, you'd just have to take it out in the rain again. Then you'd need to wash it all over again.

I drove my truck in the rain yesterday for two hours. I think it cleaned it up pretty nicely..... 9 weeks worth of dirt was starting to look pretty bad

Haha, well I grabbed all my goodies and locked myself inside the truck for an hour. Its a PITA when you cant move around!

I backed it underneath my carport and cleaned the engine bay. By the time I was done, it stopped, so I drove it out and finished claying & waxing. Pics on another thread.

You could rain-x your windows. I am not really sure how great it works since I have never used it because it doesn't rain much where I live but I think I have haerd of it working pretty well with a couple layers on.
