I have waxed my windows after claying, no problems at all.

Not sure what this means though-
It really helps give the windows some pop

Probably meant it helps the glass shine more and stand out more.

I am not sure why you wouldn't just use Rain-X. I have used Rain-X for close to 20 years (started using it in high school). I apply it to all of my windows, windshield and even my side mirrors. I guess a lot of people just don't know how to apply it or take off the haze after it dries.

I apply it with a clean towel or paper towel. Make sure you go over all areas thoroughly. I usually go back over all areas a couple of times while it is still wet just to make sure. I then take a damp towel or paper towel and remove the film. I wait a few minutes and then take another damp towel and go over any areas that I may have missed.

Their instructions do not mention using a damp towel to remove the film but I have found that it is very difficult to remove it properly with a dry towel.

I re-apply it on the windshield every 3-4 months (I live in rainy Central Florida). I apply it on the other glass maybe every 10-12 months.

When driving on the highway during the rain water just beads away everywhere. I cannot stand to even drive a vehicle without this process done on every window. I am so bad that I have bought Rain-X on vacation to apply to a rental car if it looks like it is going to rain. My wife thinks I am a little nuts. Of course, she is probably a little right.

Actually, they do. I use a towel that starts out dry, but I mist the window with water.

Last bottle I had says something different on it, I believe it says something about sprinkling water on the windshield.

Dump some RainX in your windsheild washer fluid and watch the water bead up.

I didn't follow directions at all, I just dumped it in and after few uses it works great. I rarely use windsheild wipers over 55mph now.

Don't buff and wax unless you want to workout your arm. But if you have a lot of time on you hands..............

I just buy the Rain-X winshield washer fluid for the winshield and hit the rest with Meg Window cleaner and it beads up and rolls off quite well.
