Gadzooks man wash brushes every 5 cars change soap every 10 !! It only takes 1 grain of sand to ruin the vehicle !!!! we have automated touchless system at our dealership and we wash all lot cars and customer cars no problems with damage that way just drive em in drive em out washed and dried in about 6 min .Owner realized it was far easier and cheaper to buy touchless system than pay for paint jobs and buffing also went from 5 lot attendants to 1 basically paid for itself in a year.
no touchy = no scratchy !!!!!!!!!

Over other dealers we have a much better system. The chevy dealer down the street uses the same brushes to wash to wheels and body of the cars. Truthfully tho, we don't scratch that many cars and if we do we are good enough to where we can do our own buffing and can buff it out ourselves. But an automated system would be nice.

I have always hand washed my own cars and trucks. Most of the modern day car wash soaps you can buy have wax in them, so after a few weeks of washing them by hand, you will have a waxy look. Howerver, if you are a man who uses your truck to make a living like hauling cattle and constantly getting into the mud, there is no hope for you.

Who details work trucks anyway? They are lucky to get a tunnel wash once a year!
