Bugs B-gone

Bugs B-gone
Well today I washed the truck and went to work on my bugs on the bumper. I was going to use my old reliable seafoam bugs b-gone.
But then I remembered seeing a post or two here before about using a dryer sheet and with the weather turning colder and the bugs getting fewer, I decided what the heck, im gonna give it a try.
Im a believer... who would of thought...im amazed...Simple and very effective
But I do have a few questions..
1. Who is responsible for waking up one day and saying to self...self I think I will try a dryer sheet on the front of my bumper to remove the bugs.
2. Does anybody know if there is any long term problems from using a dryer sheet all the time. I cant believe that the chemicals in the sheet could be any
more harsh then some of the chemicals we use for cleaning our vehicles.
3. Does it work on tar?
4. Can I use it on the windshield, or will it leave a haze?
Thanks to whoever for a truly wonderful idea and helpful tip.

Probably the same guy that said..."Hey, you know what, I'm going to pour Coke on my rusty exhaust tip and see what happens".

It Really Does Work
After reading this thread, I promptly went outside with my "Bounce" sheet and gave it a try on my grill and headlights. Immediate results with very little effort. I will keep me a ziplock full of softner sheets with my cleaning stuff. I have a window scrubber and squeezie, and wondering about placing a couple of softner sheets on it for cleaning bugs off my windshield. Any other ideas?
