WOW Claybar Does Work

The other day I went out to wash my wifes car and noticed the whole top of her car was covered in a fine white overspray. This doesn't work for me on a black car! Still have no idea how it got on her car. This is a brand new (5 months old) Nissan Coupe. Well I called the local detailer and he wanted $150 to claybar it and wax it. So I decided to try it myself and well it worked great. It took me about two hours start to finish to do the job. Wash, dry thoroughly, claybar it, and hand wax. I'll post a couple of pics but they don't do it justice as the sun was just too bright but you get the idea. Anyone contemplating using this product, I can highly recomend it. I was very leary using it on new car, but had no choice.

good, glad you had great results. Try to do it about once a year from now on, to keep the paint feeling smooth and looking great

Good to hear you had a great experience. I clay bar each season, 4 times a year.

DUDE.....No hiding anything there. That Chit is TIGHT

To the OP, I clay minimum 4 times per year. Proper prep is the key to any finish. Don't forget the wheel wells.

OK, the car is black, the truck is black. Claybar both 4 times a year on top of normal washing two times a week on each because their black. Hell, I'm gonna have to retire just to keep up with the upkeep

Stich....claying is only 1 step on the process, however, having a properly prepped surface is the key to any correction/protection.

Take your car/truck out in the sun or direct light to really get a feel for the condidtion of the surface and the steps needed to correct and make purdy.

Now it's my trucks turn, but at 7 years old, it's gonna be a challenge to get it to look real good.

It is amazing how much junk comes out of your paint after claying.
