Thats a plan. Hit them right after a touchless wash. My old truck had polished aluminum wheels, one was starting to flake a little after a winter without touching them

I have a DeltaSonic touchless car wash about 2 minutes from me. I've buffed it with Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Polish, then about 6 coats of Klasse All-in-One....so the paint is protected from the salt....then in the Spring, it will get a re-buff.

Polished aluminum wheels won't flake. Unless they're clear coated that is, in which case it's not necessary to take them off in the winter anyway.

I go up to the slopes every day so even if i did wash it, it would be extremely dirty a few hours later.

This is what I do in winter:

why even bother to go into the CARE AND DETALING section and post this?

I coat the inside/bottom of the door and seams with a heavy coat of wax- but I dont wipe it off. I leave it on all winter nice and thick because its one of those places where salt can really get at the seam and start the rust process from the inside out. The wax fills the seam preventing build up of sand and salt in the crack

yup, as long as it fills up the folded seams in the sheetmetal, nothing that winter can throw at you can settle in there.
