Touch up paint

Hey guys I used some touch up paint to touch up a few spots in the paint on my truck. Problem is it doesnt blend in very well with the original paint. it not a color problem just the general texture. Is there anyway to smooth this out and make it look like the original paint?

I used touch up paint with the ball point pen looking thing and it looks alright..But I can still tell there is a scratch... I have seen kits that you can buy that you can actualy get pretty good results I think the company name is color match are something.. Or you can do like I did with the big scratch that I had on my fiberglass bed .. I found a body shop that was opened on the weekend , I bought the Arizona Beige paint ,thinner, fiberglass resin , etc.. Then dropped my truck off , went to eat at Wendy's came back 30 min, later, gave the kid $100 bill and walla its fixed..His manager was not there on the weekends ... See how this works...

Did you can your touch up paint from Ford? I got some gray shadow touch up from ford that didn't match. Got some Dupli-Color Scratch Fix 2in1= perfect match.

The easiest thing to do it rip off a small small piece of paper towel, then roll it up real tight. dip the end slightly in the paint and you can dab it in the deeper spots. Also toothpicks work really well. I assume these are deep scratches that cannot be buffed out.
