Is it me or has the leather quality in Fords gotten worse over the years. The leather in my 08 Expedition looks very nice, but feels thin, and absorbs stains very easily. When it does get a stain, it does not come out easily. The leather looks dry even after conditioning. Did they cut back on the protective coating lately?

I wipe down the seats with a damp warm microfiber towel. Then if that cleans them, I condition with Zaino leather in a bottle or Lexol conditioner. I leave the conditioner on overnight, then wipe down the next morning. I do this at least two times a month. Is there anything else I can do to prolong the life of my seats? Better products? Thanks.
