Oh So Clean

I was bored today and it was nice outside, so I decided to wash my pickup.

Looks good! Go grab some tire dressing and dress those tires and your front wheel wells, it will make your truck look even better

Did you repaint your grill? looks pretty black to me

Also you should rehang the bumper so it closes up some of the gap between the surround and the top bumper pad.

patman, how do you rehang the bumper? i hate the gap my truck has ive never heard or anyone doing this til you brought it up. also whats the best way to repaint my stock grille, its behind my boltover billet grille and kind of faded and noticable. was thinking that painting it will help hide it. sorry to ask that in your thread, modea.

Exactly what I was thinking. Neglecting the tires and wheel wells leaves a very unfinished look.

there are two bolts that go through the frame and into the bumper on each side. (two bolts per frame rail) Just loosen them up a little, get a friend or two to help, push the bumper up to desired height and retighten them.

as far as the grill you would have to take off the bolt over, then take the stock one out of the grill shell and paint it. ive done a write up in my sig about how to take the grill shell off the truck.

Modea2006, wasn't trying to be an **** but when I saw the title of the thread I was expecting something different.

yes it is clean and for that age of truck it looks great, however, it can be cleaned more. Not only the wheel wells but the tires, wheels, and lower air dam...and by keeping the wells done and properly dressed it makes it so much easier to clean the next time. So even though you are going to get them dirty again, they will look and clean better the next time.

Just something to think about.

I thought I was the only one that noticed the front valance/air dam. That and the chrome bumper. Honestly, I saw that and the tires and completely ignored the rest of the truck.
