Best Product for Vinyl

What's everybodied opinion on the best product to protect vinyl? Megs HD? Meg's Rubber and Vinyl? I just bought an Access Roll-UP tonneau cover and love it. I wanna keep it in good condition if possible...and looking good too. Any guidance is appreciated.

I would use HD or 303.

the 303 will add UV protection...it will run like the wind when wet...so you need a few days of dry to get it right.

Is "303" a Megs product? What can I say, I'm a rookie.

303 isn't a Megs product. HD is one of the best products on the market, very versiatle but it doesn't have any UV in it...so for something like that I would mix in a little 303 from time to time.

As for being a rookie, we all had to start somewhere...hang in there. Read the sticky, visit websites, read, learn and most of all practice....what you know today will only get you through this day, you will learn something new every time you do a detail or use a new product...that makes all of us rookies.

Cheers

RR

Hyper Dressing is great, but for actual vinyl you may also want to consider Meguiar's M40. It has mild cleaning agents, and a great matte finish with lasting protection. I use it for interiors since it doesn't leave a gross, oily feeling that collects dust. It can also be used in engine bays or other exterior plastics, rubber, and vinyl.

Hyper Dressing rocks, but is shinier and a little more sticky. I use that for wheel wells, engine bays, and tires.

Another vote for Meguiar's #40. I use it on my tonneau and it works great.

I would do as RR suggests, and get some HD with some 303. Hit it once with 303 to get the UV protection, then maintain the shine with HD.

RR,

Is it possible that a Meg's customer service rep could have misinformed me? I wrote them when I first considered buying HD and was told that it has UV protection in it. ???

Either way, now I have some options. Thanks for everyone's input.

No. It is much more possible for me to be wrong...if HD has any type of UV protection in it, it would be news to me.

update----HD does indeed have UV protection in it Just talked to Joe at Megs...

I will ask RockPick next time I see him.
Much appreciated. I asked a rep what his suggestion would be between Gold Class vinyl/rubber and HD. He recommended HD and ensured UV protection.

HD and 303 are great products, recently I have tried Eagle One Nano Protectant. It leaves a matte finish, doesn't run, and kinda beads water.
