PICS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 1 AND TOP OF PAGE 2....tell me what you think guys.

I detailed my truck today for the first time since I bought it in October. This is the first time that I have actually hand washed it. It has been hand washed by a local place a few times. I went by AutoZone and picked up the wash, clay kit, polish, wax, applicators, buckets, MF wash mit, and 24 MF towels. Spent about $75.

Here were my steps:

1. Undercarraige high pressure spray down the street at a 75 cent place.
2. Wash with Megs Gold Class
3. Clayed with Megs Smooth Surface Clay Kit and UQD
4. Polished with Megs Show Car Glaze 7
5. Waxed with NXT 2.0
6. Generic cheap Tire Shine for the wheel wells
7. NVR dull on bumpers and wheels
8. HD on tires

First time I have done a detail of this magnitude. Took me about 5 hours. Plan on doing the inside tomorrow.

I owe it all to you guys on this forum. Now I need to know if I did anything that you wouldnt have done, or if you recommend something for me to try next time.

I promise to get pics in the sun tomorrow and creat a new signature!

Use the 26 on top of the NXT 2.0? Can you explain why for me, please?

I saw it at AZ today, so I can go pick some up if I need to.

Thanks.

Sounds like a good plan but why not HD the wells?

Looking forward to the pics.

BTW, Ragshack has the Superflys on sale right now...its one of the best MF's around and at the price, hard to beat.

Where in TX are you?

I used some older stuff I had in the garage for the wells. Figured I wouldnt use the good stuff there. Finished off the can of cheap stuff, so I cleared a bottle off the shelf. Usually things are added, not cleared.

Im in Grand Prairie.

Use your good stuff...that's why you bought it. If you wanted your truck to look like the next guys, buy your products at AZ....LOL

It reminds me of a saying a good friend told me. Drink your good wine now or your friends will at your wake.

If you need some help, just let us know. I am just up the road from you.

Can someone tell me about 26?

What does putting it on top of NXT 2.0 do for me?

After a 12 hour cure for NXT, it adds protection and helps take the "wrap" look that nxt puts on.
