So whats the best way to clean microfibers, just stick them in the washer with some soap and hot water?

Check that out. My rule of thumb is when washing microfiber towels make sure that's all you wash. Don't mix with other towels or clothes.

Use liquid detergent. no fabric softener.

NO FABRIC SOFTNER

I wash them in warm water, small amount of liquid detergent, & dry warm...Turn out great!

Wash with a liquid detergent.. make sure it is one that has no fabric softner as an additive ..

I use All free, or something like that ..

also, I add one tablespoon of white vinegar per towel to the wash water ..

and I use a double rinse /spin cycle ..
