A quick buff

Came down home for spring break. Brought along the G100 with 2 tan Megs buffing pads (only ones I could find) and some Pinnacle XMT 360. My parent's truck hadn't been washed in a bit (since last time I came down), so it was a little dirty. Passed by Carquest, and picked up some 901 Duragloss wash soap and E1 Wax-as-you-dry (to use as lube when drying).

Here's the final pix. Obviously, since the 360 is an AIO, it didn't take all the scratches or some of the etching, but it did some work on the water spots. Sorry, no before pix.

You can see of the etchings, and some swirls near the bottom

Stupid dust...

I really need to paint those handles...

Need to tell my parents to get rid of that bug guard...

All in all, the paint cleans up pretty good for being 8 years old. Can't wait to borrow the Flex to do a proper detail.

Looks pretty good. You need some Blackwow for those handles. As for the bug guard, someone linked me once to a thread somewhere that 105 was used to polish out the bug guard. It looked brand new. Let me see if I can't find it again.

Ok well I found it quicker than I thought I would. Oddly enough, it's on an F250. http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=26558

Interesting... Guess it's 105 to the rescue again.
