You are pretty limited to the terry cloth and microfiber bonnets that come with that tool. The orbital you have has very limited correction power due to it not having enough umph to work the abrasive procucts properly. The only way to get some decent pads and correction power is to upgrade to a G110, Flex, or some type of rotory polisher.

yeah i know what ya mean. im just looking for some microfiber bonnets to go on. i mean to apply swirl-x or anything like that cant i just use the foam backing plate thats on it?

i think im going to try and mod this orbital by gluing some good velcro to the foam "plate" that the bonnets wrap around, then that way i can order the regular pads and just stick them to the velcro.

I have a Ryobi that I used to use and I picked up the bonnets at Home Depot and I would also try Sears to see if they have any.

Honestly, I think it's not worth the effort. You still won't be able to work the product the way it was intended.

I agree. It doesn't matter what pad you have if the machine won't be doing the proper action.

Aid auto had a gray foam bonnet that removed swirls with #80. This did a decent job but doesnt compare to the pc7424. I had the 9'' sears buffer. I still have it, I just dont have the heart to toss it.lol My sig picture was dont with the Sears buffer.
