I just want it for cleaning inside the truck, plastics ect and then the engine compartment plastics ect, what would you recommend
They only had a 5Gal in stock I wish Rick at ADS would have mentioned I needed to buy a threaded tap for this huge container, for $50 you think Megs would have just included

In the description on ADS, it says you will need the 5 gallon spigot. I imagine he doesn't make an effort to tell people because it's possible that you already have one maybe from a previous order. What's weird is that even on ADS's website, it says 4:1 for heavy duty and 10:1 for medium duty. I have APC+ (basically same thing but doesn't foam) and aside from carpets, I don't use too much of it on my interior so I don't want to recommend a dilution for that. You can try 10:1 and test it in an inconspicuous area. If you have an empty gallon container laying around you can always use that to hlep mix 20:1. Just fill the APC bottle up to the 10:1 line with water (no APC yet) and dump it in the gallon jug. Then fill it up again with water to the 10:1 line but this time add the APC to it which you should fill to the beginning of the neck of the bottle. Dump that in the gallon jug with the other 10 parts of water. That should give you 20 parts water and 1 part APC if you want to be on the safe side.

No. A lot of people use it for interiors. I just don't. Mainly because I had other stuff I was trying to go through. I will probably give it a try soon though as I'm almost out of what I was using (which I didn't like but it worked.)

Also, you shouldn't need something like APC+ on the interior all that often. Definitely not daily.

I think so but to be safe, try it somewhere you're not going to see it to make sure it's not harming anything. APC+ is pretty strong so I imagine APC is just as strong. If you're not comfortable going right to 10:1 then by all means use 20:1. Some of it depends on how dirty you're interior is as well. If it's in bad shape then you'd be better going right to 10:1. If it helps at all, when I try it out I'll be using 20:1 first.

I have a question for you. Is the product that you got APC+(orange color) or is it APC(green color). If you indead got the APC+ then the markings on the bottle are the correct ones to use. The other dilution rations on the gallon or 5 gallon container 20:1 etc are for extractors that allow you to put the cleaning chemical inside of their solution tank. If I remember correctly 20:1 is for cold water extractors and the other dilution ratio is for hot water extractors. I have used the APC+ at 10:1 on the interior plastics of both my ford trucks without any problems. But if you want to play it safe fill the OSHA bottle with water to the 10:1 mark then add half as much product. Here is a link to Meguiars forums showing proper dilution of their detailer line products. You will have to scroll down some to see the pictures show proper dilution.
