Not sure. It may work, but then again, you may end up getting a lot of sling. Which is what happened to me when I first turned it on and product flew out of the half pockets on the edge of the pad. Luckily I had everything taped and covered.

I've never had a problem with CCS pads. Diminishing, non-diminishing, Poorboy's, Meg's, Menzerna, Chemical Guys and probably others I can't think of right now and no problems. I thought about getting the flat pads myself to try out but decided against it for now since I don't have any complaint with the CCS pads. As for product sling. Spread the product with the machine off first and then start on a slow seting for one quick pass. Then pick up the speed. This is what I do and I don't get any sling.

Well there ya go. In the hands of a more experienced user I'm sure they're fine. I just didn't feel like fighting them when I can use another pad that worked so much better for me.

I had the opposite experience with the Meg pads.
Im a nubie (2 months experience) and compared to the smaller CCS pads the Meg pads spin slower and bind and drag more often and carry less torque. They sent me a Yellow 6.5" soft buff that tore up around the edges with less than 4 hours of use. I dont like how any of the +6" pads fit the backing plate that came with my G110.

The CCS pads release product ok for me but if you spread the product around first, start out slow and clean on the fly you should never have a problem with sling. I dont worry much about what is or is not in the cups and as the pads get less aggressive the cup depth gets shallower anyway and I dont use high speeds with aggressive pads.
For me the CCS pads work smoother and more efficiently than larger meg pads.
