All In One with Green Pads

Does anyone here have any experience with an AIO using Lake Country Green pads?

I'm going to be using these for my "lazy man" easy one step (other than wash and clay) program. The paint on my truck/cars has swirls but they're not too bad. I'm hoping these pads matched with Poli-Seal and a PC 7424 will do the trick.

It isnt going to hurt but to remove swirls I would opt for a white polishing pad.

Have you ever used a green pad?

The green pad is supposed to have more cut than the white pad but less than the orange. According to Chris from eShine this is the best pad to use with an AIO.

Use this foam to apply one-step cleaner waxes. It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application

Honestly no I have 2 but usually do a 3-4 step process that doesnt include green. If its more aggresive you shoundnt have a problem. I bought the green for a friends boat. If the AIO doesnt remove the swirls I would try to get some Megs #205 and top it with your AIO. Good Luck the 7424 make a world of difference.

There are 2 different green Lake pads. One is the green finishing pad that most suppliers carry. It is one step down from the white pad. The other is the German green polishing pad, which is one step up in cut from the white pad.

With an AIO like Poli-Seal, you're going to be enhancing the gloss and shine of the paint more than removing any defects. Either the green polishing, or the white LC will work great for this.

I'm getting part# 78-34650. According to Lake County's chart it's a step up (more cut) from the white pad. These are the CCS pads.

Just a thought, if you want an AIO that will help remove defects you could maybe try a test section with D151, as for the pads I couldn't help you, I'm not familiar with the LC pads.

These are the pads I have and the bag says polishing/finishing pad that will remove light swirls.

That's what I want.

I also found these DA CCS pads, so I may be getting these as well, but I'm sure they both do the same thing. They're both rated the same on the aggression chart.

I just purchased a DA recently and it came with some of these CCS pads. Plus I bought one Megs 2.0 yellow pad. I sold those CCS pads and bought some Megs 2.0 pads. I hope you like the CCS pads better than I did. They waste alot of product IMO. With the white pad I couldn't push hard enough to release product that was in the holes. I had a much easier time polishing with the Megs pad. YMMV.

Well damn, I hope so too. I haven't heard many if any negative reviews on LC pads.

Search on autopia.org. There's quite a few on there that don't care for them either. I search a few sites after using it because I thought I was doing something wrong.

Their other FLAT pads are fine. It's just the CCS pads. The pockets just didn't work out for me. I primed the pad with product first. So this naturally puts product into each of the pockets. The problem is there are half pockets on the edge of the pad. If any product is in the half pockets you can image what happens when you turn the machine on. And like I said I couldn't push hard enough with the white pad to release product out of the damn pockets without either stopping the machine or caving in a panel! Maybe a more experienced user would have better luck. I just found the Megs pad to be MUCH easier to work with. I figured why fight it if I didn't have too. So I sold em and bought Megs pads.

With the Lake Country flexible backplate would you be able to angle (hold polisher on an angle) the pad to release some of the product in those holes?
