My dad visited me this weekend and brought his new black Bullitt Mustang. He was working on it in my garage and under the halogens we could see a ton of scratches and swirls. Look like sandpaper was used on the paint. I tried 105 with a Purple Foam Wool pad at first and didnt like it too much. I switched to a orange Lake Country pad and it made a huge difference. I am amazed by this stuff. It was almost LSP ready after just a few passes. I would say I got 95% of the scratched and swirls out. I went over it with a white pad and M205 topped with Red Machine Glaze and Collinite 476s. Its a daily driver that sits outside 24/7 so I wanted a LSP that was very durable. Here are some before and afters of the hood.

When I first read the thread topic I was thinking to myself Oh Not again. The reason I say that is b/c I've seen several people shoot straight to M105 just b/c they've heard good things about it with out trying the least aggressive method first. In you case I probably would have started with M105 myself. Looks dam good, great job.
PS Post some pics of the whole car.
