wash, clay, swril-x, wax....what order???

Another question. Would you guys recommend meguires ultimate compound? Supposed to have properties like swirl x and bring back shine. Maybe like a glaze? I dont know so please correct me. Also I seen come compounds that say the could really damage paint but that UC says its safe for even clear coats. So I guess could you do it this way?? ..

Ultimate Compound falls under the "whatever" in my post, but it's more aggressive than SwirlX.

I second the Harbor Freight advice. I got a 7" buffer for $30 and it's great. Yes, made in China but so are Craftsman now, probably in the same factories.

Wax
Ultimate Compound works very well and leave a great shine, the only problem I had with it is that it gummed up on my d.a. pads once in a while. Its a great over the counter product.
