Collinite 845

Careful with that (476) stuff. It's supposed to be a bit more durable than the 845, but if you leave it on too long, you'll need a jackhammer to get it off. Overall, I think the 845 is far easier to work with and virtually identical on durability.

Okay, here's the scoop - I just went over to HF and chatted with the manager. It's discontinued, it's not on the website, there's no more in the warehouses. What you see on the shelf at the stores is what you get. Prices are going to vary, it's up to the store to set them. My local store has 5 bottles of 845 left @ $5.95 and 2 tins of 476S left @ $4.95. The mgr told me he saw a whole ton of 845 left at the Springdale, AR store when he was down there recently for a meeting. Reason he knows all about it is it's what he uses to wax his own car, he really likes it.

Collinite still lists it on their site...

My hunch is that it's a Harbor Freight discon. While I've shopped there several times, they're not really catering to wax critics and $10 (regular price) is likely more coin than what most would spend for a smaller bottle of wax.
