I use this stuff. 3M GENERAL ADHESIVE REMOVER

Just make sure you only use it on paint that is factory baked or fully cured.

It make clean up of the glue a simple task with no rubbing just a lite wipe and done.

If you go to your local auto parts store you can pick up Goo Gone Auto Formula, it's not harsh on the paint and will remove just about anything you throw at it.

It's FINALLY gone. Went down to my brothers shop since he had all the stuff I needed. Dont know what its called but its like a big eraser wheel, connected to an air compressor, that's made specifically for doing things just like this. Worked like a charm. Little wipe with some other stuff they use to get the last little bit off and its good to go.

Btw, probably should ask somewhere else but since this thread is already going, I'll give it a try. Anybody know how to get the tailgate ford badge off? Had no problem getting all the other badges off with fishing line but the ford oval on the tailgate is indented and kinda hard to get back behind it. Any advice?
