I think Sprayway is a bit stronger. Works better on bugs in my opinion. IG seems to have less pressure out of the can and is easier to keep off of unwanted areas.

i tried using news paper with sprayaway and was amazed how nice the windows came out i was using the sams club members mark paper towels and they were leaving little particles that looked like wax and the news paper did the trick but i think i am going to try a better paper towel next time.

I've used a couple of Megs products that aren't necessarily intended for glass but work superbly for taking off some of that ground in stuff (bird droppings, bugs etc..) on exterior glass.

Meguiars mirror glaze #2 Fine cut or #1 medium cut cleaner depending on how imbedded the grit is. It uses diminishing abrasives which turn into a polishing rouge as you work it in, leaving the glass as smooth as well... Glass.

Buff it out with a Micro fiber and then you can then follow that up with a good all around glass cleaner if you wish.
