Bar Keepers Friend...

Used this on my windshield like RP and others had suggested by working it into a paste...boy did this stuff work wonders. My windshield was heavily hazed from what i'm assuming was from when the previous owner had it up north during the winter. It cleaned right up, although now I notice a few small swirl scratches on it at night when the light hits it just right, but anything is better than before.

What I'd like to know is if this stuff is safe to use on my chrome bumpers and mirrors, and maybe even my Classic II's as long as I polish the aluminum up after?

Heres a few quick pictures of the windshield so you can see the difference:

I plan on doing the back window and side windows this week before I go back to school.

Yes sir, I got it at wallyworld for under $2. It comes in a gold and blue container, it's near all the cleaning supplies for your household/kitchen.

It should be right next to the Comet and Ajax powder cleaners.

Should finish cleaning my car tomorrow, so I'll prolly be using some for the bottom of the windshield.

Been using this for years on my vehicles. It's a great product for getting the nasty road grime off the windshield.

My wife uses it on her $300 stainless pots and pans...it works great.By the way, I would never spend that much on pots and pans.

I came back looking for the thread where this stuff was recommended for cleaning bed extenders. It worked great! Made my day.

The last time I washed my truck,2 weeks ago,I Rain-Xed my windshield. This morning I used my washers to clean the windshield and my wipers were chattering so bad I thought they were going to explode!
So,I grabbed my Bon-Ami and cleaned my windshield.Problem solved. Now my wipers are working like new.
