The roads are so full of salt they look white...at least we're getting some warmer weather this week.I can finally do a better detail in the garage with Optimum No Rinse.

The salt here is aweful... however, I've got about 6 coats of Liquid Glass on my truck... and the finish is still like new.

I dunno whats in that stuff, but it repels rail dust, industrial fallout, and saves the finish.

Man, I am so glad I moved to Florida before winter. Mid 60's this week and 70's on Saturday. I am allowed to say this as I lived in Vermont for 26 winters. I know all about salt. Only annoyance I have is this stupid palm tree out front dropping little berries all over my truck. They're black, they stick to the paint and some dark colored liquid oozes out on the finish. I'll take it over salt though.

Last winter (the only winter my truck has seen) I would use the pressure washer at least twice a week. Spraying underneath was always the most important to me.

Two coats of NXT is not going to give twice the protection. It will ensure an even and uniform coat though.

This year I have a winter beater so my black truck is staying black, tucked away in the garage. I love my winter beater
