The lids aren't important unless you plan on using it for a seat. Then it comes in handy. If you're set on a kit I'd get the one that's all plastic. I like the extra area to set stuff on and I like that the casters are larger which should make it easier to roll around. The other setup is basically two seperate dollies connected together by small sheets of diamond plate.

One nice thing about not having them on a dolly is you can set one at each corner closest to your water source and the buckets will keep your hose from catching under the tires and getting held up as you walk around the vehicle. That drives me nuts. I'm not trying to talk you out of it. It really doesn't matter to me. It's our money and if it makes it easier for you that's all that matters. Just giving another perspective and idea.

You guys are right. I have four buckets now (w/o wheels) and 4 grit guards, so I guess that's enough. So scrap the buckets but what about this light, is it worth it.

Rock what I plan on doing is using the flex with a Megs polishing pad and m205 for light correction and then a Megs finishing pad with NXT 2.0. My vehicle is not bad at all but I will get pics up when the weather gets better here in NYC.

I wish I bought the Brinkman light a long time ago, i have 3 of them now and I won't detail without them.

That price is stupid cheap, I bought mine at Academy for 50 each. Its like having the sun with you all the time.

Use this wisely, use the Halogens but use the brinkman to get OCD. Trust me again, I thought the way was with only using the halogens but if you want to truely master this craft, you will want this light.

Disregard the ugly guy here but this is a photo taken with shop lights and a Brinkman...use both.

Sorry, had to thrown in a shameless photo

No worries man, but I have to warn you...working under shop llghts is one thing...using a brinkman to correct is over the top but it is what all the top of the top do so if you want to get to that level you will find so much more to correct with a brinkman..not to mention, using that kind of light will show you how to correct b/c there are distinctive markings left behind by pads, products, and machines. this is where you need to spend some time with a pro to learn that and how to fix if you are going for better than new show car quality. Take a look at Nick Chapmans's site he doesn't take an after photo without a brinkman.

Sorry to introduce you to a new level but there is another level over OCD>

I was finished shopping for my products and tools for a while...

Now I need (will treat myself to) those lights....though I already have halogens.
The rabbit hole is very deep.
Those photos are razor sharp. Very nice!

Buy some wheel chocks and place them in front of the wheel. Walmart has those bright orange ones for pretty cheap. No more caught hose
