Bugs

I know there have been many discussions on this.. from what wax to use, wax many layers, spray on protectors... etc.

What if when I put NXT on just the front a little thick and just left it? It would look like hell but then on the other end of my 16 hour drive (which will most likely be through the night) I can just wipe it off.

bad idea?

Trust me, you don't want to put on NXT "a little thick". You'll kick yourself when trying to remove it.

Just put a fresh coat or two on and remove it. Next time you wash use a dryer sheet and the bugs will just fall off.

Thanks everyone... what's magical about the dryer sheet? Just that it is soft?

As for NXT, I didn't think it would be that hard to take off.. but I will take your word for it and NOT do that.

I didn't know seafoam made a bug remover. Where do you get it? Or do I just need to order it online?

I am a believer of seafoam. I had a Honda that had a power steering that was hard has hell to turn when cold. I put a little of that in the oil.. and haven't had problems for years...

I bought it at Advance Auto, also check Ace Hardware, O'Reilly, Autozone, Carquest, Pep Boys, and Napa. Spray it on, let it sit for about a minute, then wash.

For a real easy rewax (the Bugs B Gone removes wax) you can use the new Meguiars Ultimate Spray Wax. Wallyworld carries it. It has the same polymers as NXT and it's a wipe on wipe off product.
