my first attempt w/ PC 7424xp (pics)

Well, I finally got around to using the new PC and all of my “supplies” (foam gun, grit guards, Megs window cleaner, Megs 105/205, Hyper Dressing, Megs “Super Soap”, Black Wow, etc) this weekend.
I spent Saturday cleaning the inside, cleaning the tires, wheels and wheel wells and claying the entire truck. (after that, I cleaned my sons 4-wheeler and got it ready for this weekends race).
Sunday I washed it (two bucket method), polished and waxed. I used the Megs 105/205 combo. 95% of my truck was done w/ 205 and a green Uber pad, while I used both 105 and 205 on orange Uber pads to get rid of the scratches. A few months ago I painted my emblems and in the process I accidentally slipped w/ the electric sander and scratched a nice little (okay, several) marks under the emblem. A few applications of 105 and the orange Uber pad (followed by 205 and green Uber pad) cleared it all up. The other scratches were done by the previous owner and those are now a thing of the past.
I used Megs Hyper Dressing on the tires (medium gloss) and the same (high gloss) for the wheel wells. For the trim I used “Black Wow”. At first I thought the tires were too shiney, but after a light wipe-down with a rag, they came out better to my liking. The Black Wow is a little too shiney for me (even after several wipe-downs w/ a MF towel), but I’m impressed with it considering the way my plastics (bed rail trim and door handles especially) looked before I used it.
