exterior black plastic????
what can i put on the black plastic on the outside of the truck mirror caps front bumper bed rails ect.. to keep them dark black and clean looking..will armour all work?..my main focus is finding something that will not leave streaks and run down the side of my truck in the rain..anyone know anything that works??

UP did a fantastic job on my soft tonneau because it soaks in. There's nothing to soak in on the bed rails. It's darn good stuff but everything has its limitations. I was told a good way to keep it from running after use on hard plastic may be to wipe it down with QD on a microfiber after application.

That's the only way I could see HD not running as well, especially being a water based product. It shouldn't run on "regular" trim pieces, I guess you could call them, like the cowl and mirrors and such though.

I use Turtle Wax Ice Clear Liquid Polish. You can use it on Paint, Plastic and rubber molding surfaces. It goes on real easy, can be applied in direct sunlight and leaves an awesome shine on your paint and brightens all that black plastic and rubber moldings. I never put Armorall on that Black Plastic because I have found the Armorall fades it over time.
