brasso

i picked up a can of brasso metal polish seems to work pretty good anybody else ever used this stuff and it was only $ 2.37 for the can .

I've used it to polish stuff before, but not on a car. Once you get past the smell, it's pretty good.

What are you using it to polish? Chrome? Aluminum?

chrome, aluminum,stainless works great. i like it better than mothers and turtle wax chrome polish. its the same stuff i used in the military to polish brass buckles etc.

i used it on my oxidized chrome bumpers. it works pretty well, but has a pretty strong smell.

The Brasso website claims that it can be used on aluminum, but I don't think I'd want to. I'd use a product that's specifically designed for that use.

I have used Never Dull for years ( prior to the Eagle buy out ) for chrome. Always worked well.

On Aluminum if you are willing to spend the time, it will polish it to a mirror finish, but it takes quite a bit to get the oxidation out of it.

I've used it on the back of iPods to get rid of scratches...great stuff!

^X2 on the Never Dull......pulls even moderate pitting and surface rust from chrome before it gets deeper.
