Detailer's Domain: 335i coupe - fixing other detailer's mistakes

2010 BMW 335 I Coupe

This car came to us with swirls and huge haze marks. The customer called me upset about what a local detailer recently did to his new car. What the detailer did was rip thru the car in 3 hours with a compound and glaze. i believe this was not necessary at all especially on a new car. Damage done. The car was fixed with M105 - SIP - PO85RD
Last Step = Swissvax Blau Weiss

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Swissvax Blau Weiss
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned

Very Nice work! I'm actually looking at replacing my truck with that exact car only a couple of years older.

How is the paint on the Beemers? fairly hard?

just curios as if I pick one up, it will be used and I'm sure it will need correction of some kind.

Thanks, I wish would have checked out where you were before. I was just in White Plains and Hackensack a couple of weeks ago, would have been nice to stop by and pick up some stuff. Maybe next trip.

Wow not saying I know 100% what I'm doing but that paint looked bad from the previous shop! Y'all really fixed her up well.

What do you recommend to treat wheel wells? The front liner on mine gets that milky gray color pretty quick. What can I do say ever other car wash or so? To keep them looking good, not shiny black just not faded nasty looking. Currently I'm using Meguiar's Hyperdressing and it is working pretty well, for a week or so before dust and dirt gets all over it.

this is a kit that we use on many of our details

http://www.detailersdomain.com/uberw...llcarekit.aspx

the adam's undercarriage spray can be used it can go on glossy or you can wipe it down to a matte finish.

most dressings in the wheel well will attract dust.
