I just did the NXT this weekend per glc's suggestion. All thick does is waste wax, per meguire's. What I did do is rub it in real good when I applied it, then when I hand buffed it out I buffed it twice. That seemed to enhance the shine.
The areas where it was a little thick were much harder to rub off, but not impossible.

Good luck on the clay job you're gonna love it.

I don't remember where I saw it but use a ziplock bag to keep the clay in when you are done. Give the bag a couple of squirts of QD before you stick the clay in it.
