Post tree sap

Hi guys,

Just wondering: what is the best way to remove tree sap? I have some on my truck (on the paint) and some on glass. I have tried a tar and tree sap remover, but to no avail.

Thanks
Robert

I always use rubbing alcohol, then follow soon with wax

Cool

I never park under trees with my truck, but my uncles 97 F150 is always covered with tree sap. I power wash it with hot water and it comes off no problem. That's all you have to do. Now I have my own power washer, not like one you have in the garage but one that is a big stationary unit at my shop. But if you just go down to the car wash, or somewhere that has a power washer with hot water then it will come off with no problem.
Good luck.

PS, Carnuba Wax does a good job with tree sap too.

drcarrillo,

I don't know how all of this hyperlink stuff works, but go to the supercrew section, then go to page 7, and look for the title very similar to yours, you'll see how to get rid of the sap.

P.S. Maybe someone can clue me in on how to set up a link that you can click on to an old thread!!
