I have some friends that tell me it seems to be more trouble than just using armor all. But the big advantage is that the mop n glow doesn't wash off with the first bit of water that hits it.

Application on tires can be a little troublesome. it takes seeral coats the first, and they need to be evenly spread as possible. As far as long term effects, none negative here yet.

Thank you buddy for the quick response. I will evaluate all this and compare with other alternatives.

Hey Clifton,

Thanks for the info on the Mop & Glo, I'll have to try it on my truck. By the way, I'm from Dekalb, maybe we'll see each other around Texarkana sometime......

RussK...you were right!

No reason to search any longer for the ultimate tire shinner product because here is what it is......

McGuires "Endurance" Gel for tires

This is by far the best stuff I have ever used and smells as good as it works...Grape smell!

Goes on smooth, lasts longer than any other product I have used in the last 20years and makes my tires look like new...oh ya...no mess either!

"Endurance" from mcGuires is the tire shinner of 2000...ME VERY HAPPY!!!

2001,

I have been using the McGuires "Endurance" Gel for tires and I LOVE IT!!!!

It lasts for a long time and it looks great. I was curious why they made it smell like grape, though?!?

I just make sure that I wipe off any excess on the edges where the sidewall meets the business side of the tire and any that gets globbed up in the letters. If you don't you will find it stuck to your truck.

I have also used it on the trim around the back window (mine is turning light grey) and it made it look like new.
