Question Goof Off Safe on Clear Coat?

Is Goof Off safe to use on clear coat? I've got to clean a large area of tree sap mist from all over my truck. Is Goof Off safe to use on the plastic trim?

I've removed road stripe paint from clearcoats with Goof Off, you just have to work quickly and on small areas at a time, then rinse it thorougly. You might want to try a clay bar first.
I would NOT recommend using it on plastic, it's tends to bleach the color off the plastic and if you leave in on too long it starts to melt.

& a leeetle chrome tip on the exhaust.

I had sap on my new Supercrew and removed same with warm water. Try it - it works and does not damaged the paint.

I JUST USED THE STUFF TO GET RID OF SOME KIND OF STICKY STUFF ON THE PAINT, NO PROBLEMS HERE WITH THE GOOF OFF STUFF. JUST TO BE SAFE I PUT ANOTHER COAT OF WAX ON THE AREA I DID.
