2001F150Sport: Check that bottle of NuFinish, bud. That's not a wax. It's a polymer coating.

Who cares what it is, it works good.


I've used carnauba-based waxes, they look good of a while but they don't last.

Nufishish looks good and lasts, it's designed for clear coats, I don't like using carnauba-based waxes on clear coats.

i agree with Doug, Zymol is outstanding, and was rated the best car wax by Consumer Reports..

i've been using it for a while now..

2001: Well, more power to ya. I've used NuFinish as well. You'll find out over time what a crappy product it really is. It doesn't wear evenly and your finish will show it over time. It'll come to a point where you apply the product, then after a week or so you find yourself wondering if you've applied it at all. I switched from NuFinish to Blue Coral AutoFom. Much superior polymer product. The more you use it, the deeper your shine. It doesn't get "blotchy" over time like NuFinish will.

all you guys use this fancy car wash junk but id be afraid that would streak or spot.. i usully mix mine with water then rinse it off with a hose j/k
i like Dura Gloss it smells good and looks like you just waxed it then dry with an ABSORBER chamois cloth always keeps it shining and lookin great ..
