1997 Camry Detail - Flex PE14 vs oxidized paint

Matt brought in his 1997 Camry that was in serious need of a detail. We decided to put the new Flex PE14-2-150 Rotary Polisher to the test in conjunction with Wolfgang Finishing Glaze and LC Hydro-Tech pads. This combo worked surprisingly well to remove such a heavy amount of oxidation. As expected, the PE14 was extremely smooth yet powerful. The overall ergonomics and lightweight of the machine made the job that much easier.

Prep:
DP Cleanse-All pre-soak
DP Wheel Cleaner on wheels and tires
DP Auto Bath Shampoo

Clay:
Pinnacle XMT Speed Clay
Pinnacle XMT Clay Lubricant

Polish:
Flex PE14-2-150 Rotary Polisher
LC Hydro-Tech Tangerine pads
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0

LSP:
DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant

Headlights:
3M Headlight Restoration Kit via drill

Interior:
DP Carpet Extractor Pre-Treatment
Optimum Power Clean
1z ****pit Premium
**Prototype Odor Removal Product Coming Soon**
Metro Vac n Blo
Aztec Hot Rod Carpet Extractor

Misc:
Poorboy's Bold N Bright on tires
Diamondite Glasswork Restorer
Diamondite Glass Poli-Shield

Here are some before shots. I think the car was last washed around a year or so ago :

Notice how Cleanse-All is encapsulating most of the dirt, allowing it to run off.

Yeah, kinda oxidized...

Some 50/50s

We have our process dialed in for the paint. While I polished the paint, Matt got to work on the headlights.
