Red face Paint discrepency on New truck

I have a 2001 XLT White. I just washed it for the first time (3 weeks old). As I was wiping it down I kept noticing very small (pin head size) speckles in the paint. It is all over the truck, even on the sides. You can actually feel them with your finger nail. I live in North Carolina (pine trees) and someone told me it "could" be the sap from the trees. I tried using Turtle Wax (bug, tar & tree sap remover) it didn't work. Has anybody ever seen this before? Is there something else I should try to remove these speckles? (lighter fluid?)

I'm wondering if this could be the infamous rail dust. I would phone Sal at Zaino Brothers before taking it to the dealer or trying lighter fluid or anything else. If you get a voice mail system, leave your name/number for Sal, he will return your call.
