HuskerScrew,

I think you pinpointed my problem with the swirl/spider web markings. I did use circular motions instead of back and forth. I guess I need to stop watching those Karate Kid movies.

To everyone... I have learned more here then I ever expected to. You all are great! Thanks for the help.

As you see. We all have our favorites and systems. Get the best you can afford. If you don't like the results, try something else. Personally, I use cloth diapers (100% terry is fine, but the little loops can hold grit). Got my diapers <grin> at Sears. Clays can be found at Pep Boys, but I bought the Erazer products from that Autofanatics link I showed you in my first post.

I am getting it Wednesday. I am looking forward to it, but dont want anything too obnoxious, just aggressive and deep with no drone when cruising. What are your opinions?

SCOOBY14B,

I don't feel mine as obnoxious at all. As for the drone... it depends on the person. I get a drone in my truck at about 2k rpm in the passing gear. I drive highways all the time ( commute from Buckhead to PTC ) and it's not annoying at all. If you haven't had a chance, ride with someone who has this setup in a similar truck. Perhaps with the crew cab, the muffler will be further back from the cab. You are welcome to listen to mine if you want. Email me if you are interested.

By the way.. are you getting this done at Midas? and if so.. how much are they charging?

Personally, I'd love to hear what the Z-33 sounds like in comparison. Sometimes I wonder if I would have liked that better. Don't get me wrong, the Z-55 is loud. No question. But... I just wonder

I met up with LightningCrew today. He has an AWESOME looking ride. A all white supercrew with an L front end and L badges and the Z-55 system. I loved it!!! Getting it done Wednesday for sure!! The Midas in Duluth quoted me $299 plus tax for everything. Was gonna go with duals straight out the rear, but after seeing Bill's I think I am gonna go with duals out rear corners @ about 30degree angle.

SCOOBY14B,

Glad to see you liked what you heard. It's really a great exhaust, and the sticker doesn't look that bad on the rear glass Make sure you ask for the stickers if you want them!

LightningCrew's ride sounds pretty impressive. I want to make an L SC outta my truck. Got any pics of his ride? Would love to see it!

BTW.. if you are looking to get chrome tips, check out my other thread.
