Angry Black WOW = Waste of money

Just giving my personal opinion on this and nothing more. I recenty bought a small bottle of Black Wow and I applied it to my bed caps as specified by supplier. I only applied it to a very small area about 3 inches X the width of the cap. Initially it looks like its doing something but by the next morning it was going back to its original state.
As long as the material is wet, it looks good. But this would be the case with any other product out there. Im sticking to the Krylon Fusion Satin as Ive had very good results.. Or just buying the piece new..

I tried it also, had the same results. I then started using Adams VRT and then SuperVRT, or whatever the waterproof stuff is called.. works much better. Usually lasts a week or more..

Agreed. No matter what technique I used to apply it, I found it to be a greasy mess attracting 10x's the dust of my other product.

I would imagine Adam's is worth trying...I just used their In&Out spray for the first time and it's my new favorite product.

My Adam's VRT (non-water based) is still on all my trim after 10 car washes.

Any detailing products are 100% personal preference anyways, so the fact that any of us don't like BW is completely irrelevant.

Before applying any trim restore product, thoroughly clean the surface first using an all purpose cleaner or mild degreaser. Keep in mind, trim restore products are for non-porous surfaces, which means for them to be effective, the surface being treated has to have a grain or texture to it so the product can be absorbed.

I've personally had excellent results with Black Wow. A little bit of product goes a long way and a 4oz bottle will last years.

It's now available in a kit that includes the Pre-Wow Cleaner along with the detailing brush and a couple microfiber towels and applicators, and of course the Black Wow itself.

Try Forever Black products. My brother put me onto them when I had some fading on the running boards of our old SUV. The stuff brought it right back to black and it didn't wear off.

I'd hope it didn't wear off...it's a dye; not a dressing.
