Well,

I visited the dealer today to show him my door crack, and all the other little cracks in the paint, and he's going to "let me know". He said he has to call Ford and see what they'll do. He was being pretty nice about it, and told me about a program Ford has where they'll pay a portion of a paint job. Anyone have any idea about this program? How big do I expect their portion to be? Or does it depend on the mood of the people at Ford? The truck is off warranty, but I've heard that Ford has a 5 year paint warranty. Anybody heard of this?

I'm hoping that they'll cover at least 75% of the paint job, I'd be pretty happy about that. The paint guy was not very impressed with the cracks in my paint, was acting like he was dissapointed that Ford paint would crack like this. That made me feel pretty good about the whole thing.
