black marks on white truck

black marks on white truck

i have several little black smudges on my truck, but there faint, but i noticed em close up,

any thing i can do to remove these smudges, soap and water is not cuttin it,
i want to get it off b4 i polish and wax her

Clay bar will get it out. You can buy it at walmart or any parts store for a bout $20 and it comes with 2 bars and a bottle of quick detail.

I would only use clay bar asa last resort.

1st, try denatured alcohol, it will not hurt the paint and is available from any hardware store. 2nd, then try 3M adhesive remover (availabl at most hardware stores or any autobody paint supply store) ...one of these two should soften/dissolve allowing the removal. 3rd option would be kerosene (aka tar remover)...agin , none of these products will harm your paint except it will remove the wax. Afterwards, wash the area with soap/water, dry & re-wax.
