Spots on chrome running boards
I have a 2010 xlt with the chrome package on it. Beautiful truck but Damn! I wish someone would have told me about the care for chrome when I got it. I have been pretty lucky with keeping the bumpers and wheels spotless using Never Dull. But when it chomes to the running boards and tail pipe I give up!
A couple of weeks ago we had some serious flooding where we live and the truck was coated in mud. I had to leave town for a week and did not have time to clean it before I left.
I got everything back to new but the running boards and tail pipe! There are actual stains "spots" that will not come off! I have seen all types of remedies from vinegar with foil to rubbing compounds and chrome polish. Nothing seems to work! Any ideas?
